A True Story About Healing

A few years ago I had a small, isolated skin condition that went unexplained for a year (it’s really still unexplained). I attempted to go to the doctor twice and both times nothing happened. I got no answers. 

12 months after the appearance of this thing, I attended a class at Unity Church in Miami (Biscayne and 21st street). The class was called “History of the Unity Movement” (if I recall correctly) and was based on the book “The Unity Movement” which detailed the story of how one of the New Thought Movement’s offspring “Unity”, was founded by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore. 

Charles and Myrtle Fillmore were inspired by the teachings of Christ. They believed the story when Christ said:

“I can guarantee this truth: Those who believe in me will do the things that I am doing. They will do even greater things”

Understanding that Christ was a healer, and Charles and Myrtle both had health conditions they wanted to cure, they both began daily meditations for a few hours at a time. During that time they would communicate to their bodies and affirm their health and vitality. After some time Charles and Myrtle both cured themseles. 

I, being the amazing student I am, put this to the test to heal my own condition. Every day after work, for 1.5-2 hours I sat in silence affirming my health and laying my hands over the affected area. 2 weeks later my condition was gone. About another 2 weeks later, the scar was gone too. It never returned.
